A postpartum Doula provides support and guidance to mothers and couples before and during their postpartum period. As a postpartum Doula I assist families in preparing for the physical, mental and emotional changes and challenges to expect after having a baby. I offer support and information for settling, soothing and feeding your baby and adjusting to parenthood. I provide nourishing meals and snacks, do light housework and offer you a chance to rest, sleep, shower or go for a walk while I care for your precious baby. I will be your biggest cheerleader and celebrate all of your wins no matter how small and always offer you a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold when the days are hard.

No, Doula's are not medical professional and can not offer medical advice, diagnosis or treatments. A Doula can provide information, guidance and assist you to advocate for yourself.

Not at all! A Doula is an addition to your support network and is here to support and care for both you and your partner! A Doula will never replace the role of your partner.

Anytime during your pregnancy! We will first meet for a preparation and planning session during your third trimester and stay in contact right through your postpartum journey.

I currently offer my services until 16 weeks postpartum. You can choose when and how often you would like to see me during that time. I also offer constant phone and text support between home visits.
